She is a very popular performer who has sold more than 41 million albums around the world and over 150 million songs. Her birthplace was in Barbados and was raised to reggae. After she learned to sing, she became professional. After being disturbed by the chaotic nature of her home life, as well as her frequent disputes with her father she became immersed with music.
